Kuje Council boss flags off N30m road project

The 250 metres Gomo Palace Road construction project has been flagged off by the Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo. The Chairman while flagging off the road yesterday said it was part of his administration's mandate to provide social infrastructure to the people of kuje.

He said the project is expected to cost the council the sum of 30 million naira and will serve as an alternative road for residents of Kuje. Sabo also promised that with availability of funds, the council will not relent in providing the desired dividends of democracy.

Managing Director, Glamourous Nigeria Limited, Engineer Watt Dang who is the contractor handling the project, promised to deliver the project without compromising standards in six weeks. He said the council had mobilized the company to site.

The Minister said these after a meeting of the FCT Security Committee which comprises heads of the police, military and para-military formations in FCT as well as Area Council Chairmen and religious leaders.

The cheery news is coming as Minister of State, FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu will headline a distinguished galaxy of stakeholders for the FCT pension stakeholders retreat this week.

Finally last week, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) took over managing and operating the newly- completed Nigeria-Korea Model School in Abuja.
