Area Councils, stakeholders share N4.476bn October allocation

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) distributed the sum of N4, 476,067,191.05 to the six Area Councils and other stakeholders for the month of October, 2021.

The Secretary, FCT Administration (FCTA) Area Councils Services Secretariat (ACSS), Ibrahim Abubakar Dantsoho, made the disclosure during the Account Allocation Committee meeting for October. The Secretary disclosed that Gwagwalada Area Council received the highest share of N470,262,942.36, followed by Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), N467,596,505.31; Kuje Area Council received the sum of N409,219387.28; Abaji Area Council got N401,888,840.83; Kwali Area Council took home N4397,353,535.59, while Bwari Area Council received N384,085,033.55.

Furthermore , the Secretary stated that Primary School Teachers received N1,566,571,879.02 while 15% Pension Funds got N226,478,989.57, with 1% Training Fund receiving the sum of N44,760,671.91. The 10% Employer Pension Contribution received N107, 849,405.63.

He said the total money distributed to the stakeholders, therefore, amounted to N1, 945,660,946.13, with Area Councils receiving the sum of N2, 530,406,244.92.
