FCTA Awards Special Scholarship To Indigent Students

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has expressed its commitment to the holistic development of education in the Territory.
The Mandate Secretary for Education, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, gave assurance Friday, during an inspection tour of FCT schools as the school calendar year commences across the Territory.
The inspection tour is aimed at assessing the readiness of schools for the new academic session and also ensuring compliance with established standards.
Accordingly, during the inspection tour, the Mandate Secretary awarded special Scholarship to seven indigent students awaiting admission into the Junior Secondary School, Jabi.
Speaking during the tour, Hayyo assured that the FCT Administration is determined to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for the teachers and students.
He further assured that the Administration remains steadfast in its efforts to foster educational excellence, improve infrastructure, and ensure access to quality education for all.
According to him, the seven scholarship recipients represent the Administration’s continued investment in the future of FCT students; providing them with the opportunity to further their education without any financial barriers.
Hayyo urged the students to remain focused and committed to their academic pursuits as the FCTA will continue to support them in tune with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.
Abuja Digest reports that generally, there was a remarkable turnout upon resumption in all the FCT Schools.
The Mandate Secretary commended the parents for making the students and pupils to turn up in schools as enshrined in the School Calendar.
