ACTING FCT-IRS CHAIRMAN RELIEVED OF HIS APPOINTMENT

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, has sacked the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr. Michael Ango.

Ango’s sack was disclosed in a press statement on issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Friday, 5th December, 2025.

The statement said that the most senior official of the FCT-IRS has also been directed to take over the running of the revenue agency with immediate effect.

No reason has been given for his removal.
