AMMC Coordinator Commends NAWOJ

The Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), Felix Amechi Obuah, has commended the Nigeria women journalists for their commitment, courage and resilience in working hard to the betterment of the Nigerian society.

The Coordinator made this commendation when the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) paid him a courtesy visit in his office, Tuesday.

Obuah enjoined NAWOJ to continue to build bridges and part to improve the lots of womenfolk.

According to him, the Association is in a vantage position to drive the change required to improve the quality of life of the people, particularly women in the rural communities.

Speaking earlier, the NAWOJ Secretary, Comrade Nkiru Okeke, revealed that the Union is working towards organizing an outreach in commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) with the theme, “Amplifying the voices of Rural Women: #AccelleratAction “.
