…Promises Open-door Policy

The new Secretary of the FCT Social Development Secretariat, Alhaji Ibrahim Aminu, has taken over the affairs of the Secretariat.

The new Secretary took over the affairs of the Secretariat immediately after swearing in by the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, promised an open-door policy and inclusivity kind of administration.

His words: “Let me assure you that my administration is going to be an open and inclusive administration. Let us work together as one big family that we are and by the grace of Allah, we shall achieve even more in unity with cooperation”.

Aminu said that he is motivated by the crop of officials met on ground and will fire up by that desire to hit the ground running.

The new Secretary thanked Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for approving his appointment and finding him worthy to serve in his Renewed Hope Agenda administration, as well as the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud.

He assured that he will not disappoint them, but to rather defend and uphold the confidence reposed on him to serve as the Secretary of the Social Development Secretariat among several other Million Nigerians qualified for same position.

The Secretary appreciated the brief reception by Management and Staff of the Secretariat for the rosy welcome; stating, “I am indeed overwhelmed by the kind of welcome that preceded my entrance into the Social Development Secretariat”.

“Honestly, I am elated and extremely very happy,” he concluded.

Welcoming the new Secretary, the Director of Admin and Finance for the Secretariat, Mrs. Justina Pawa, assured him of high level cooperation to be accorded him.

She said, “we have high caliber professionals in the Secretariat that will make his job easy.”.

The Secretary, who hailed from Kafar Local Government Area of Katsina State is a seasoned Administrator and very versatile in human resource management.
