FCTA To Host UK University Visitors

The FCT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Students’ Skills projects which recently received international recognition will host Teams from the University of Brunel Business School London.
The Director, FCT Secondary Education Board (SEB), Dr. Sani Mohammed Ladan, who made this disclosure in Abuja, also disclosed that the British University visitors will be hosted from Monday 16th – Friday 20th October 2023 for the five (5) day activities.
The Director said, Committees are already in place to ensure smooth execution of activities for the upcoming august visit.
He explained that the various committees responsibilities is to ensure a structured activities associated with the international visit so that there will be coordination of all planned activities.
Ladan revealed that the visit is as a result of the presentation on Entrepreneurship projects showcased during a short course attended at University of Brunel Business School London, United Kingdom by the FCT SEB Innovative Team.
He stated that the Team FCT after the robust presentation and interactive session generated lots of excitement, which led to some beneficiary offers from the University.
According to him, the Facilitators expressed their determination to physically assess the FCT Students Entrepreneurship Skills in action in some selected FCT Schools.
Ladan remarked that the University of Brunel Business School has a-state-of-the-art facilities, extensive programmes and a hub for nurturing successful start-ups ventures, which the Students and talented youths will benefit from while establishing long – lasting relationship with FCT Education Secretariat.
He further disclosed that earlier, the SEB Innovative Team visited the Permanent Secretary, FCT, Mr. Olusade Adesola, who expressed satisfaction with the fruitful Training.
He said the visiting officials are keen to explore opportunities for cooperation and Entrepreneurship academic partnerships.
The Director appreciated the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for his kind approval and support towards the visit.
