Police Rescue Another kidnapped Victim In FCT

The FCT Command of the Nigeria Police Force has rescued another kidnapped victim, Suleiman Sabo, from Kidnappers in Sauka, along Airport Road, Abuja at about 1130hrs on Sunday.

A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, Superintendent Josephine Adeh, said
in a the rescue operation, Muhammad Abel aged 32 from Kogi state was equally apprehended and one (1) LAR rifle with ten (10) rounds of life ammunition recovered from him.

She revealed that Police Operatives attached to Iddo Divisional Headquarters on Sunday 21st January, 2023, rescued kidnapped victim.

According to the Force PRO, the victim who sustained some injuries from the kidnappers, is currently receiving medical attention, and would be reunited with his family, once certified fit by the medical team.

The statement reiterated that FCT Commissioner of Police, Haruna Garba expressed the commitment of the Command to keep FCT Safe for all.

The statement further said that the Command will continue in its efforts to rid FCT of Criminality.

The statement added: “The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Haruna Garba, wishes to reiterate the Command’s commitment to rid FCT of Criminality in all its manifestations and maintenance of peace for all and sundry. He equally urges residents to keep up swift rendition of distress call and promptly report any suspicious activities to the law enforcement agencies for proper action.”
