Mukhtar Assumes Office As SDS Perm Sec

Sequel to the swearing-in and posting of Permanent Secretaries across the Secretariats of the FCT Administration, Hajiya Asmau Mukhtar, has assumed office as the Permanent Secretary of the Social Development Secretariat.
Mukhtar commended the Mandate Secretary, Ibrahim Aminu, the Management and Staff of the Secretariat for the warm reception accorded her on assumption.
The Permanent Secretary called for teamwork and collaboration among all stakeholders to deliver the dividends of democracy in tune with the principles of the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Her words: “The importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving or realizing the Secretariat’s mandate cannot be overemphasized.”
She promised to operate an open-door policy where every staff of the Secretariat can access her at will.
Mukhtar maintained that working closely together as one big family, driven by passion, dedication to duty, shared commitments and achieving the vision, mission and the goals of the Secretariat is her primary goal.
The Permanent Secretary appreciated the FCT Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, for finding her worthy of the appointment as the pioneer Permanent Secretary in the FCT Administration, promising to live up to the expectations reposed on her.
She assured of her preparedness to assist in deepening the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.
Mukhtar tasked the Management and Staff of the Secretariat to endeavor to resume work early in line with the Civil Service Rules and Regulations; adding that as a thorough administrator, she will not condone or compromise any aspect of the rules.
