STDD To Ensure Strict Projects Supervision – Coordinator

Development Department will, henceforth, ensure strict supervision of all its projects to upscale the quality of jobs being delivered.

The Coordinator, Satellite Towns
Development Department, Abdulkadir Zulkiflu, made this vow, when he led the technical team of the organization on inspection of on-going projects across the six Area Councils of the Territory.

The Coordinator recalled the FCT Minister’s directive on the need for comprehensive project supervision and said that the instruction will be adhered to strictly.

Zulkiflu reiterated that the Agency’s projects are spread across the six Area Councils of the Territory to reach the grassroots and the government must get value for money being spent.

He said that the tour is aimed at assessing the progress of the on-going projects, and expressed satisfaction with the work done by some of the contractors.

Zulkiflu, however, warned those with with performance stead to wake up as there will be no compromise.

His words: “I wish to strongly advise the underperforming contractors to step up their game and meet the project’s demands, because it is not more business as usual.”

He said that the contractors must perform in tune with the principles and aspirations of the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
