FCTA To Train, Retrain Staff For Improved Service Delivery

The Coordinating Director of Verification, National Housing Fund (NHF), in the FCTA Treasury and Budget, Mr. Musa Lere, has assured that the Administration will continue to train and retrain the workforce to improve it’s service delivery to the residents of the Territory.

The Director gave this assurance at a training session on Public Sector and Financial Management for the staff of Treasury and Budget, on Thursday in Abuja.

Lere said that the training, which is in partnership with the Zuraib Idea Global, is aimed at equipping the staff with requisite knowledge and expertise for improved capacity to effectively deliver services.

According to him, “if the Administration must meet up with its set targets in all perspectives, training and retraining must take the better part of the staff”.

His words: “This is aimed at improving the service delivery by the Staff of FCT Administration in order to ensure that effective results and efficiency in productivity.”

Speaking further, Lere stressed that when Staff are properly trained and retrained, the reflections in their service delivery is effective and profitable to an organization.

The Director charged the staff, who were opportuned to participate in a training to consider themselves lucky and endeavor to give back to the Administration by recommitting their efforts to showcase what they have learned.

“The training has been tailored to impact hugely on the participants;?thereby, aiding them to carry out effective service to the residents, especially in financial management”, the Director restated.

Lere reiterated that as part of it’s commitment towards improving service delivery, the FCT Administration will not relent on utilizing the abundant human asset available for the provision of quality service; saying that the residents remain the focus.

He appreciated the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for his pragmatic leadership and continued support to the staff, which has made the training possible.
