The FCT Police Command has apprehended a notorious gang leader, Abubakar Idris (aka Nishi), and his accomplices, Buhari Saidu and Musa Ahmadu Suleiman, responsible for the brutal murder of Ibrahim Danfulani.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, Sp Josephine Adeh.

According to statement, the incident which occurred on November 27, 2024, was sparked by Nishi’s financial interests in a woman Ibrahim intended to marry.

Investigations revealed that the trio, armed with knives, launched a vicious attack on Ibrahim, resulting in his tragic death.

Furthermore, they stole 18 cows belonging to the victim, which they believed would compensate for Nishi’s perceived financial losses.

In a stunning turn of events, Abubakar Idris was arrested in Nasarawa State while attempting to recruit new gang members to carry out his sinister plan to also kill the woman.

The statement disclosed that the FCT Police Command’s collaborative efforts with the Agaita community in Karu led to the successful arrest of all suspects, who will face prosecution to ensure that justice is served.
