AEA, FCT College Of Education Sign Agreement For Entrepreneurship Development

To ensure that youth become self-reliant and reduce unemployment in the Federal Capital Territory, the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) and FCT College of Education, Zuba have signed Partnership Agreement to widen entrepreneurship development.

Speaking during the official signing ceremony at the Headquarters of the Agency in Mabushi District, Abuja, the Acting Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe said that the collaboration between the two Organizations would not only foster and deepen entrepreneurship knowledge of staff and students of the Institution but would also open new frontiers in teaching and learning.

The CEO, who explained that the relationship between the two Establishments should be sustained with a view to ensuring that entrepreneurship is well positioned as a panacea to internet fraud, kidnapping and other associated acts of criminality.

He noted that the desire of Staff of the Agency stems from the success story of the Agency’s clients and businesses that are thriving in the midst of turbulent business environment.

Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, who lauded the foresight of the Leadership of the College, particularly, in aligning the vision of the College with modern realties, stressed the need for the College to remain steadfast in the entrepreneurship journey.

Earlier, the Provost of FCT College of Education, Zuba, represented by the Director, Special Duties, Grace Tyoden, remarked that the collaboration became necessary in view of the wish of the College to add value to the lives of its students and staff by positioning them for economic independence.

The Director, who affirmed the commitment of the College to sustain the mutually beneficial partnership, expressed satisfaction with the activities of the present Leadership of Abuja Enterprise Agency.
