AEA Organizes Six Months Free Vocational Training For Youths

The Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) has flagged-off a free six months fashion design training for youths in Abaji Area Council.
Accordingly, the training is being conducted by AFS Vocational Training Hub, which is the AEA Fashion Hub.
Speaking at the event, the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe said that training is aimed at reducing poverty and employment rate in the area.
While commending the efforts of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike for ensuring the smooth inclusion of the rural populace especially the youths in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ugwuada-Ezirigwe said the training will provide the needed opportunity for the youth, thereby reducing restiveness.
He also commended the Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, for partnering with AEA to establish the Training Center with a vow to strengthen the existing bond between AEA and the Council.
The Managing Director thanked the Council for showing interest in empowering her people using the platform provided by the Agency for the Training.
He challenged the participants to show their commitment and dedication in the course of the training exercise.
Earlier, the Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, who was represented at the occasion by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Isah Makkah, declared the training programme opened.
He noted that by engaging the youths with vocational skills, Council will continue to partner with Abuja Enterprise Agency and other agencies to increase entrepreneurship, attract investment and create a sustainable and prosperous future for the indigent people of Abaji Area Council.
