FCT COE ZUBA MATRICULATES 318 NEW NCE PART-TIME STUDENTS

The FCT College of Education, Zuba FCT, has formally matriculated newly admitted students into its NCE Part-Time Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Declaring the event open on Wednesday, 16th October, 2025, the Provost of the College, Dr. Sule Mundi, congratulated the matriculating students and advised them to abide by the rules and regulations guiding academic and social conduct in the institution.

Dr. Mundi noted that a total of 318 candidates successfully completed their registration process, culminating in their formal admission and matriculation into the College.

While congratulating the new students, the Provost reminded them that the journey to becoming successful graduates begins with discipline, dedication, and respect for constituted authority. He emphasized that tertiary education comes with a degree of freedom, but such freedom must be exercised responsibly, warning them to avoid any activity that will not contribute positively to their future. Stay away from drugs, bad habits, and unproductive associations.

In her remarks, the Acting Registrar, Hajiya Zainab Suleiman Itakure, commended the students for their hard work and determination to further their education. She reaffirmed the College Management’s commitment to supporting the students’ academic success.

She therefore encouraged the new students to take full advantage of the academic support services available, engage with their peers, and build positive relationships with their lecturers across the institution.

The Acting Registrar thereafter invited the Deans of Schools to present their students for the matriculation oath, which was administered by the Academic Secretary, Mallam Nasiru Gabasawa.

In his address, Mallam Gabasawa urged the new students to uphold the college’s constitution and conduct themselves in ways that promote academic excellence and institutional development.
