OVER 100 FCT RESIDENTS RECEIVE FREE MEDICAL CHECKS FROM NGO

JAM -initiative team, the traditional ruler with some beneficiaries

Over a hundred residents of the FCT have received free medical check-ups from the JAM-Initiative in the Gwagalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

The Free Medical Outreach, an end-of-year activity for 2025, was organised by JAM-Initiative in Conjunction with Enycare Foundation also included Malaria tests, Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure Checks, and free Medications.

While welcoming participants to the program, Josie Mudasiru, Founder of the JAM Initiative, urged them to take advantage of free medical check-ups to assess their health status.

Mudasiru encouraged Women to always prioritise their health because the burden of running the family falls on them.

She reiterated the importance of seeking help when tired and stressed.

 Mudasiru also appreciated Dr Eniola Mudasiru-Dawodu, the Founder of Enycare Foundation, who was the Major Sponsor of the Medical Outreach.

She also appreciated the FCT Women Affairs Secretariat, headed by Honourable Dr Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi, as well as the FCT Health Services and Environment Secretariat, Christ the King Church in Chicago and Gwagwalada Area Council for their Support.

In her words: ” I cannot thank them enough. Some of the Young persons that I mentored also contributed to ensuring a successful Outreach. I can’t mention names because there are many, but I am always grateful to God for the blessings of good and wonderful people who believe in my dream and support me.

Highlights of the program included the decoration of the founder of JAM-Initiative, Josie Mudasiru, as a token of appreciation for her humanitarian work, and the presentation of gifts to the participants.
