BIG CHANGES COMING IN BOXING AS IBA PLANS NEW FUTURE FOR THE SPORT

The International Boxing Association (IBA) will announce major changes to the sport at a big event in Istanbul, Turkey, on 2 July. These changes include a new professional boxing format called IBA. Pro, a bare-knuckle boxing league, and more ways for fans to enjoy the sport through digital media.
The IBA says it wants to focus on what athletes and coaches need. It hopes to make boxing more open and welcoming for everyone. The main goal of the event is to show the public how the sport is changing and becoming more modern.
IBA President Umar Kremlev is expected to share the organisation’s new vision for boxing. The event will highlight new ideas that aim to make boxing more exciting and easier for people around the world to enjoy. One of these ideas is IBA.Pro, a new format that helps talented boxers find chances to grow and compete at a high level.
There will also be updates about new events and the start of a bare-knuckle boxing league. The IBA will present a new gym concept, which they believe will change the way people train for boxing. It will also show its first fashion line, hoping to build a new lifestyle brand for boxing fans.
The IBA will name the host city for the 2025 Men’s World Boxing Championships during the event. There will be news about amateur boxing and upcoming events too.
Starting in July, the IBA will introduce a new competition called Power of Punch. This could grow into a worldwide event.
In another big step forward, the IBA will launch a new boxing video game tol be called the IBA Boxing Game and will work on both PC and mobile. Players will be able to compete with each other no matter which device they use. The goal is to bring boxing fans together through skill and friendly competition.
The IBA says these changes are just the beginning of a new and exciting future for boxing.
