FCTA Hands Over Official Vehicles To New Traditional Rulers

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has handed over official vehicles to the newly installed Traditional Rulers in FCT.
FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, made the presentation in Area 11, Garki I District, Abuja, Monday.
The Minister, who was represented by the Mandate Secretary, Area Councils Services Secretariat, Bitrus Lawrence Garki, reiterated the Administration’s commitment to ensuring the FCT Traditional Institutions are well catered for.
The Minister said that the vehicles were meant to aid the smooth movement of the Royal Fathers as they carry out their duties.
Wike urged the Traditional Rulers to maintain the vehicles and ensure their safety; saying that the vehicles will be returned to the Secretariat upon resignation, removal or death of any of them.
The Traditional Rulers, who were handed over the official vehicles includes: HRH Lukas Ayedo Nissasan III, Estu kwali; HRH Joseph Dafulani Narai, Sakaruyi of Karu and HRH Aliyu Yakubu Ndastu, Estu of Yaba respectively.
Responding on behalf of the Traditional Rulers, the Estu of Kwali, HRH Lukas Ayedo Nissasan III, appreciated the kind gesture of the FCT Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike, for his support and commitment to strengthening the traditional institution.
He thanked the Mandate Secretary ACSS and his team for working tirelessly to ensure the Royal Fathers in FCT are well catered for.
