FCTA To Leverage Human Capital For Growth

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) will continue to leverage on the abundant human capital of its serving and retired personnel to improve on its service delivery.
The Administration will always consult its retired personnel to tap from their wealth of experiences in order to strengthen the institutional memory.
Permanent Secretary, Treasury and Budget, FCTA, Adamu Ibrahim Wanki, stated this while receiving a former Director of Treasury, FCT, Mr. Remi Lawal Salaudeen, that paid him a courtesy visit in his office, Wednesday.
The Permanent Secretary said that some of the retired FCTA staff are encyclopedia, which could be considered as human assets, valuable to the development and growth of FCT, which in turn has direct bearing on service delivery to the residents, especially now that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is transforming the FCT in tune with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
His words: “FCTA is committed to utilising the abundant human assets available to provide quality service for the benefit of the FCT residents and the growth of the Territory.”
The Perm Secretary noted that the FCTA will not hesitate to leverage the brilliant minds at its disposal including retired staff, to achieve its set target.
Wanki revealed that the former DOT was one of such brilliant minds, who contributed immensely and served the FCT Administration diligently until his retirement.
“The FCTA is proud to have had Salaudeen on its employment and will continue to engage with him whenever the need arises,” Wanki restated.
Speaking earlier, Remi Lawal Salaudeen, expressed delight at the warm reception accorded him by the Permanent Secretary and his team.
The former Director said that he was willing and available to provide support and/or any services required by the Administration.
Salaudeen explained that the FCTA was his grooming ground and has impacted him greatly.
Abuja Digest reports that , the Permanent Secretary, Common Services, Mr. Rotimi Ajayi, and Directors in the Treasury & Budget joined Wanki to welcome the former DOT.
