FEMD confirms No Life Lost to Accident on Karu Bridge.

The FCT Emergency Management Department has confirmed that no life was lost in Monday night’s road accident involving a J5 sachet water truck and a trailer at the Karu bridge in the FCT.
Upon further investigation, FEMD officials discovered the J5 driver sustained some injuries and has been taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred when the sachet water truck driver hit his brakes on sighting personnel of the road maintenance agency carrying out repair works on the road by the Karu bridge.
The trailer, coming from behind, was reported to have rammed into the sachet water truck.
Personnel of the FCT Emergency Management Department and the Federal Road Safety Corps attended to the incident swiftly.
