Wike Gets Chief of Staff

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr. Chidi Amadi as his Chief of Staff.

A statement from the office of the Minister, FCT made this disclosure, Friday.

According to the statement, the appointment is done in order to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

Amadi is said to have “vast experience in public service and has held several strategic political positions including PDP Chairman of Obio /Akpor Local Government Area and Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State.

The statement added: “As Chief of Staff, Amadi will play a pivotal role in supporting the FCT Minister in the formulation and execution of policies and programmes aimed at advancing the development agenda of the Federal Capital Territory and will provide strategic guidance as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of the Minister’s office.”

The new Chief of Staff will be sworn into office on Monday 18th March 2024, the statement revealed.
