FCTA Fumigates Hajj Camp

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has commenced the general fumigation of the FCT Hajj Camp in Bassan-Jiwa, near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The fumigation is prelude to the commencement of the 2025 Hajj operations in Madinah and Makkah in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Accordingly, the fumigation exercise is being carried out at the FCT Hajj Transit Camp, Bassan Jiwa, by the officials of the Port Health Services of the Federal Ministry of Health.

This is ahead of camping of intending pilgrims for 2025 Hajj exercise.

Visiting the Hajj Camp, the Director of the FCT Pilgrims Welfare Board, Kadiri Edah, has assured that the FCT Administration would continue to prioritize the health, safety and wellbeing of pilgrims by maintaining high standards of facilities both here and abroad.

The Director said that the Board would do everything possible to ensure that all pilgrims are protected to remain healthy throughout the period of the exercise.
