Chelsea have written their name in European football history after a brilliant 4-1 comeback win over Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final. The Blues became the first club ever to win all four major UEFA trophies, a remarkable achievement that puts them in a league of their own.
The final, held in Wroclaw, Poland, saw Chelsea fall behind in the first half. Real Betis, backed by thousands of passionate supporters, took a 1-0 lead into the break and looked on course for their first-ever European trophy.
But Enzo Maresca’s side had other ideas.
In a stunning second-half display, Chelsea turned the game on its head. Enzo Fernandez drew them level before Nicolas Jackson gave the Blues the lead. Jadon Sancho added a third, and Moises Caicedo sealed the win with a late fourth, sending the Chelsea fans into wild celebrations.
This result means Chelsea have now won the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and the Conference League, a clean sweep no other club has managed.
It was a perfect ending to the 2024/25 season for the London club, who had already secured a Champions League spot by beating Nottingham Forest last weekend.
For Real Betis, the dream of lifting a first European title will have to wait, but their fans created a memorable atmosphere in Wroclaw.
For Chelsea, this night will go down as one of the greatest in their proud European journey.
