Vinicius Junior has firmly shut down rumors of a potential move to Saudi Arabia, declaring his intention to remain at Real Madrid for the foreseeable future.

The Brazilian winger, who has been instrumental in Real Madrid’s recent dominance, expressed his happiness at the club and his desire to extend his contract beyond its current 2027 expiration.

Speaking ahead of Real Madrid’s crucial Champions League last-16 clash against city rivals Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, March 4, Vinicius emphasized his commitment to the Spanish giants.

“I’m very calm because I have a contract until 2027, and I hope we will renew it as soon as possible because I’m happy here,” he said during a pre-match press conference.

Vinicius, who has helped Real Madrid secure three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies, described his time at the club as a dream come true.

“I’m living a dream: I’m playing with the best players in the world, the best coach, the best president, the best fans. Everyone loves me so much. I couldn’t be anywhere better than here,” he added.

The 23-year-old’s comments come amid speculation of a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, where several high-profile players have moved in recent years. However, Vinicius appears fully focused on continuing his legacy at Real Madrid, where he has become one of the team’s most influential players.

All eyes are now on the Champions League as Real Madrid aim to defend their title and secure a record-extending 16th triumph in the competition. Their path to glory begins with a high-stakes showdown against Atletico Madrid, a match that promises to be a fiercely contested derby in the Spanish capital.

Vinicius’ commitment to Real Madrid is a significant boost for the club as they prepare for a pivotal phase of the season, with domestic and European ambitions still very much alive.
