FCTA To Upgrade City Library

The Federal Capital Territory Administration,FCTA, the has concluded plans for a comprehensive upgrade of the Abuja City Library.
Permanent Secretary, FCT, Mr. Adesola Olusade disclosed this during an inspection tour of the Library located in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
Mr. Olusade described the provision of the City Library as a good initiative by the FCT Administration, and expressed satisfaction with the level of patronage so far.
He assured the residents, especially those using the facility, that the administration would soon upgrade the Library for efficient service delivery to the public.
He also said government intend to adequately publishes the activities and services offer by the facility to attract more patronage.
The Permanent Secretary ,who commended the United States Embassy for its sustained partnership with the FCT Administration towards the development of the Centre, called on other Embassies, well-meaning individuals and reputable Organizations to partner with the Administration in order to improve the reading culture amongst residents of the Territory.
Mr. Adesola who charged residents of the Territory to embrace reading culture as a way life, equally revealed that the Centre has the capacity to accommodate 200 persons daily, with materials on Arts and Humanities, Accounting, Current Affairs, as well as American History.
