HAJJ 2026: FCT MUSLIM PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD REAFFIRMES READINESS FOR FLAWLESS 2026 HAJJ EXERCISE

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Abuja has reaffirmed its readiness for a flawless 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Director of the Board, Mallam Kadiri Edah stated this when he received the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) new coordinator in charge of North Central Zone, Hajiya Zainab Mohammed and her team on a courtesy visit to his office.
Mallam Edah disclosed that the the Board has put everything in place to actualize the success of the forthcoming Hajj operation.
He emphasized that the Board is developing new strategies to help pilgrims achieve the desired goal of performing a satisfactory Hajj in 2026.
The Director called for support of the commission in addressing challenges that the Board may encounter during the operation and ensure that intending pilgrims get value for their money.
In her speech earlier, the new NAHCON’s coordinator for the North Central Zone, Hajiya Zainab Mohammed said the visit was to familiarize herself with the Board and called for support in discharging her assignment.
Hajiya zainab called for cooperation of the FCT in ensuring hitch free Hajj exercises for the benefit of Nigerians who would be part of the contingent to the holy land of Saudi Arabia for the religious obligation.
She emphasised the commitment of the Commission in ensuring remarkable hajj operations in future and called for the support of the Director and staff of the Board in each operation.
The registration of Intending Pilgrims, orientations and camping activities, airlifting of pilgrims are among the issues discussed at the meeting.
