NUJ FCTA Chapel Congratulates New Exco, NUJ FCT Council

The Nigerian Union of Journalists Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA NUJ) Chapel has congratulated the newly elected Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council, Comrade Grace Ike, and entire Executive members of the Union.

The congratulatory was contained in a Press Statement signed by the Chairperson of the Chapel, Comrade Ngozi Ufomba, in Abuja, Friday.

Ufomba said that Ike’s emergence as the the first female to hold the prestigious position, marks a significant milestone for women in Journalism and a testament to the growing recognition of women,s leadership potentials.

According to her, “as an exemplary leadership potentials, vision, and commitment to excellence, we are confident in her ability to deliver on her promises, particularly in enhancing members’ welfare, promoting professionalism, and repositioning the council to attain greater heights”.

Her words: “As a Chapel, we wholeheartedly pledge our unwavering support to the new Chairperson and her executive team. We are committed to fostering a robust and collaborative working relationship, driven by shared values and goals, to advance the vision and mission of the NUJ FCT Council.”

“This historic achievement serves as an inspiration to all, reflecting the progressive strides being made within the NUJ. We are optimistic that her tenure will bring transformational leadership and lasting impact to the Council and its members,” Ufomba added.

The statement stressed, “Once again, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Chairperson and her executives and wish them a successful and impactful tenure”.
