FCTA Releases 2025 Approved Hajj Fare

Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this year through FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board are to pay the sum of Eight Million, Four hundred and fifty seven thousand, six hundred and eighty five naira, fifty nine kobo (N8,457,685.59k) only as hajj fare.

A statement from the Board and made available to Abuja Digest stated that Intending Pilgrims, who have made deposit for the exercise are to balance payment before Thursday 30th of this month to be part of the religious journey.

It said that any prospective intending pilgrims can also make full payment before the deadline to book a seat for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

According to the statement, all payment to the Board must be in Bank Draft from any commercial bank payable to the Board as no cash transaction would be entertained.

The statement added that all payments for the Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board compile the actual list of Intending Pilgrims for this year’s exercise to enable the Board remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

It stated that Board has also initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of feeding and a befitting accommodation in Makkah during the Hajj period.

The negotiation is in line with the desire of the Board to render the best services to FCT contingent to this year’s hajj in accordance with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of the present Administration.
