To ensure full compliance to rules and regulations guiding outdoor advertisements in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has begun the regularization of first Party signage(s).

Udoh, who advised business owners in the FCT to visit DOAS headquarters to register all their signage(s) within the Territory, warned that the Department will no longer condole any firm operating without registering their signages.

The Director stated that the exercise is important as that will ensure the Department gets accurate data of its ‘First Party signages in the FCT.

He enjoined business owners to always cooperate and support the Department to succeed in the exercise.

His words: “I wish to direct that organizations furnish the Department with detailed list of all their branches in the FCT with the addresses and dimensions of the signages located there on.”

According to him, “the concerned organizations are expected to comply with the directives within the next two weeks from the day of collection of the letter of notification issued to them during the exercise”.

The Director lauded the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for his support to the staff of DOAS; urging the staff to reciprocate the Minister’s uncommon gesture.
