FCTA SERVICOM Bags Presidential Award

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) SERVICOM Unit has been conferred with the Most Innovative Ministerial SERVICOM Unit, by the Presidency.

Similarly, the FCT Nodal Officer, Mr. Tam Dokubo, also received the Best Performing Nodal Officer Award.

The Award which was presented by the National Coordinator of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, at a ceremony in the FCDA Conference Hall, showcases the innovative and improved service delivery of the Secretariats, Departments and Agencies (SDA’s) of the FCTA.

The National Coordinator acknowledged the tremendous efforts, support and commitment of both the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud.

According to her, the Ministers’ commitment and visionary leadership has yielded to timely, transparent and quality service delivery to FCT residents.

Her words: “This was in recognition of the FCT Administration’s outstanding performances, improved service delivery and innovative solutions.”

Akajemeli said that the award, was aimed at enhancing synergies between government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and also to recognise outsanding performances.

Receiving the Awards on behalf of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), the Head of the FCT Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, and the Permanent Secretary, Common Services, Mr. Olurotimi Ajayi, both lauded the FCTA‘s achievements and encouraged the SERVICOM Team, to continue in its quest for effective service delivery in the FCT.

They added that the FCTA will continue to support the Unit, to ensure that the residents of the FCT continue to enjoy quality and efficient services.

FCT Nodal Officer, who also spoke at the event, disclosed that the Awards, were for 2024; adding that in 2023, the Unit won the Most Improved Ministerial Servicom Unit Award, while in 2022, FCT received the Most Featured MDA on SERVICOM’s Radio Programmes.
