Tinubu Sacks Five Ministers, Nominates Seven Others

President Bola Tinunbu, has sacked five members of the Federal Executive Council.
The Ministers were relieved of their appointments shortly after the Federal Executive Council, Wednesday, at the State House, Abuja
A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, in Abuja said the five Minister have been sacked from the President’s cabinet.
The affected Ministers are: Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism and Professor Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education.
Others are Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
Meanwhile, the President has nominated seven names to be forwarded to the Senate for confirmation as members of the Federal Executive Council and they are:
Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction); Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi (Labour & Employment); Dr. Jumoke Oduwole (Industry, Trade and Investment).
Others are Idi Mukhtar Maiha (Livestock Development). ; Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; Suwaiba Said Ahmad PhD – Minister of State Education.
