Wike Approves N70,000 Minimum Wage For FCTA Staff

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has approved the implementation of N70,000 minimum wage for workers under the employ of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

The approval, which was announced on Monday, 18th November, 2024 by the Acting Head of Civil Service, FCT, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, is for immediate implementation.

According to the statement, the Minister also granted approval for the payment of three months arrears for all staff of the Administration with effect from November, 2024.

The statement enjoined the staff to further rededicate themselves to the service of building an all inclusive capital city for all Nigerians.

She called on the entire staff of the Administration to support the Minister to continue to deliver on the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adayilo thanked the Minister for his uncommon support to the staff, particularly the staff welfare being placed on the front burner.
