The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), has enjoined Pension fund Administrators to improve the quality of their services to the serving and retired staff of the Administration.

The Director, FCT Pension Department, Mr. Rotimi Ajayi, made this call at a Joint sensitisation programme organized for Pension Desk Officers, Heads of Administration, and salary of various Secretariats, Departments and Agencies (SDAs) of the FCTA.

Ajayi noted that improved services by Pension Fund Administrators will ensure quality service delivery to the serving and retired staff of the Administration.

The Director said that the decision to organize the Joint sensitisation programme is generally to stimulate the efforts of the Fund Administrators toward giving in their best on the issue of retirement and safeguarding the future of the staff and retirees from undue stress after meritorious years of service.

His words: “The FCT Pension Department in collaboration with FCMB organized the programme with the aim of enlightening members of staff on data recapturing, investment, guidelines, Transfer window, statement delivery, additional voluntary contributions, programmed withdrawal/ annuity, pension enhancement amongst others.”

The Director, therefore, appreciated the participants for the confidence reposed in the FCT Pension Department.
