Adam Has Never Denied His Professional Calling-CSO

The Permanent Secretary, FCT Health Services and Environment Secretariat (HSES), Dr. Babagana Adam, has never denied his professional callings and such claim by a faceless Online medium organization should be disregarded.

A Civil Society Organization called Nigerians for Good Governance (NGG) stated this in a Press Statement made available to the media, Friday in Abuja.

The statement said that such allegations coming from a Ghanaian online news medium making such frivolous accusations is most unfortunate and an act of cowardice.

The Online medium claims that Dr. Babagana Adam has been parading himself as a medical doctor, thereby, deceiving the authorities that he is a medical doctor, is far from the truth, because he has been an employee of the FCTA long before being appointed a Permanent Secretary so where is the deception coming from?

Dr. Adam’s academic and other records which show that he is a veterinary doctor are with the FCTA authorities as well as in the public domain in sites such as LinkedIn.

The CSO while slamming the foreign news medium being used for libeling Dr. Adam, described him as a top Nigerian public servant with impeccable records that are available for all to scrutinize.

The statement decried the Online medium as professionally incompetent, unethical, biased and unfit to practice journalism in today’s Journalism space, given that they failed to adhere to the basic principles of the profession.

The CSO said that Dr. Adam is a certified veterinary doctor and has no business claiming to be a medical doctor since there’s nothing to gain from such act.

The NGG said that the story was false, unfounded, mischievous, and libelous; and therefore, urged Dr. Adam not to be distracted from the good work he is doing to assist the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in delivering the ’Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Tinubu to the residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
