BUKAA Visits Director Info. FCT, Solicits For Support

The Bayero University Kano Alumnus Association, Federal Capital Territory, has paid a courtesy visit to the Director of Information and Communication, FCT, Muhammad Hazat Sule.
The visit, according to the leader of the delegation, Alhassan Mohammad, who is also the Chairman of Bayero University, Kano, Alumnus Association, FCT Chapter, said the essence of the visit was to intimate Sule on activities lined-up for the forthcoming congress of the Association scheduled to hold next month in Abuja.
Muhammad stressed the need to build synergy among the Alumnus of BUK; saying that in today’s world, networking is essential in achieving individual, corporate as well as societal goals.
He stated that the proposed congress aimed to bring together all Alumnus of the prestigious institution residing in the FCT to a round table for mutually beneficiary relationship for members as well as the University.
The Chairman further explained that building synergy among members of the Alumnus would also serve as an avenue for them to give back to the University, which has equipped them with the required skills and knowledge to compete feverously among their contemporaries with their heads high.
His words: “If we come together collectively, we can do it by supporting ourselves and our Alma mater, it won’t be difficult as a body for us to do that.”
Muhammad also congratulated Sule for attaining the position of Director in the FCT Civil Service as well as being a good ambassador of the University in the discharge of his professional responsibilities.
Responding, the Director of Information and Communication, Muhammad Hazat Sule, commended members of the delegation for their commitment and dedication to the cause of the Association and by extension, Bayero University.
He said, most of them who graduated from that citadel of learning in the ancient city of Kano were properly groomed by the institution for today’s world.
Sule praised the management of the BayeroUniversity, Kano, for their conservativeness, which nurtured them to become what they are in the society.
He affirmed that BUK instilled in him, the discipline and dedication that have become his guiding principles in life and has continued to guide both his official and unofficial conduct.
Sule pledged his support to the efforts of the interim leadership of BUKAA, FCT Chapter to revive the Association and promised to attend the planned congress slated for November 23, 2024.
Members of the delegation include Dr. Hussaini Abdullahi Yahaya, who is also sub-committee Chairman on Fund raising, Dr. Omoh Atsenokhai, and Hajiya Jamila Ahmad.
