FCTA Gets Committee On Board Of Survey

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has established a Ministerial Committee for Board of Survey to handle all matters in the sub-sector.

The Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, (AMMC), Felix Amaechi Obuah, who inaugurated the Ministerial Committee, Thursday, said it is charged with the responsibility of taking inventory of obsolete government properties for possible disposal.

Obuah reminded the members of the Committee of the significance and objectives of the Committee.

The Coordinator charged the membersof the Committer to work as a team to ensure maximum results.

According to him, the terms of reference includes; information from audit reports received, inspection and valuation of items deposited in stores of various Departments and itemized items from various departments with a list of submissions of unserviceable properties.

He reiterated the need to complete the assignment within record time.

Members of Committee are Representative of Permanent Secretary (Treasury and Budget), Director, Audit FCTA, Director of Procurement, Permanent Secretary (Common Services), Director Legal Services AMMC, A.g Director Admin – AMMC , Deputy Director- Information AMMC, Assistant Director, Special Duties, AMMC.
