The Abuja natives youth group under Original Inhabitant Youth and Empowerment Organization (AOIYEO), have advised the youths not to subscribe to any attempt to use them to subvert the security of the country.
The President of the group, Commandant Isaac David, said this while reacting to the intelligence report by the State Security Service that certain politicians were desperately mobilizing unsuspecting student leaders, ethnic based associations, youth and disgruntled groups to stage violent protest in the country.
His words:“I think this should be the high time that Nigerian youths need to wake up and resist this incessant manipulation by these evil plotters that always turn to them any time they wanted to cause havoc in the country to protect their own self-interests, the youth should be able to suppress any form of inducement to make them stake their precious lives for those people who do not have their interests at heart.”
He continued that if youths can do this, this country will immediately arise for the betterment of all, because government will not only have crises to manage but directly concentrate all the resources on the development of the nation.
“On behalf of Abuja Original Inhabitant Youth and Empowerment Organization (AOIYEO), we call on the youths not to make themselves available to destroy this country, they should not allow politicians to turn them against the authority because it is only in the time of peace, cooperation and tranquility that the nation can develop,” he added.
Isaac further charged the youths to come back to their senses and ask themselves this personal question, why should those who are bent on destroying this country always resort to them for the evil job when their self-interests are no more protected but ignore them when things are going in their favour and only remember their sons and daughters.
