AEA Signs MoU For Job Creation

The Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AFS Vocational Hub for the management and maintenance of newly equipped Fashion Hub in Abaji Area Council of FCT, aimed at job creation at the rural communities.

Accordingly, the Fashion Hub was established and equipped by the Abuja Enterprise Agency to provide opportunities to those at the rural communities.

The signing of the MoU was done by the Acting Managing -Director / Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Enterprise Agency, Mr.Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, who signed on behalf of the AEA, while CEO of AFS Vocational Hub, Mr.Femi Oladosu
Signed on behalf of his organization at the Headquarters of the Agency, in Mabushi District, Abuja.

Speaking at the event, the Acting Managing -Director / Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Enterprise Agency, Mr.Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, said that the move was in tandem with the mandate of the Agency which focuses greater part of its activities in the rural areas of the Territory.

Ugwuada-Ezirigwe remarked that it is intended to ensure quality and sustainable management of the Agency’s newly equipped Fashion Hub in the Abaji Area Council of FCT.

He added that the goal is being vigorously pursued in tune with aspirations of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and the principles of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

Ugwuada-Ezirigwe stated that the Agency is working assiduously to sign similar agreements with serious minded Private Organizations, with proven track records in the management of digital fashion hub, thereby, giving rise to proposed establishment of modern fashion Institutes across the six Area Councils of FCT, within the year.

His words: “The MoU is in fulfilment of the core mandate of the Agency as a vehicle for wealth creation, employment generation and poverty eradication.”

Harping on the huge potentials and prospects of the Fashion Industry, Ugwuada-Ezirigwe expressed strong optimism that the Industry has the capacity to take thousands of youths off the streets.

Earlier, the CEO of AFS Vocational Hub, Mr.Femi Oladosu, pledged the commitment of his Organization to bring to bear, years of tested experience in the fashion industry in the performance of its role.

Oladosu said that AFS has carved a niche for itself by facilitating several trainings locally and internationally.
