Jigawa State seeks Educational Collaboration with FCT.

The Jigawa State Government has expressed its desire to facilitate Educational collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration for mutual benefits.

This initiative will provide various opportunities to the people of the State and residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Technical Adviser on Education to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Dr. Abdullahi Dogo Abubakar, said this when he paid a courtesy visit on the FCT Secretary for Education, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, in his office.

Dr. Abubakar said, they recognized FCT for its exemplary Education system of Innovative approaches and various achievements in the Teaching and Learning process which are worth emulating.

He highlighted the quality and success of the FCT Administration Educational framework and solicits to establish a knowledge sharing partnership.

Abubakar noted the potential benefits of mutual collaboration in advancing Educational standards of both Jigawa State and the Federal Capital Territory.

Responding, the FCT Secretary for Education, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, welcomed the Educational partnership recognizing the value of inter – state cooperation in strengthening Educational practices.

“Exchanging best practices educational resources and strategies to enhance teaching and learning methodologies, teachers training, curriculum, infrastructure and Student development as well as utilization of technology advancement in Education are areas of potential collaboration,” Hayyo noted.

According to him, this collaborative efforts which aims to improve the Standard of education between the two will also help to foster a productive exchange of ideas and practices that will ensure brighter future for both Students and Teachers respectively.
