The New Director, FCT Pension Department, Mr. Rotimi Ajayi, has promised to prioritize the welfare of staff and retirees of the FCTA.

The Director made this promise while taking over the mantle of leadership of the Department from the erstwhile Ag. Director, Mr Tukura Dauda in Area 3, Abuja.

The Director further promised that he is poised to reposition the department and ensure that retirees benefits are processed and paid as at and when due.

Ajayi also promised to get the roots of uncredited deductions for improvement.

His words: “I will put modalities in place for the training of staff members as this will help to improve their skills and productivities.”

He paid tribute to his predecessor,Mrs. Elizabeth Atang, who retired from service on January 4, 2023.

The Director said that staff of the FCTA will henceforth be sensitised on the rudiments of retirement as this would improve and prepare them towards better retirement plans.

A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun state was employed into the services of the Federal Capital Territory Administration in 1994.
He has worked in different capacities in the services of the FCTA.
