FCT Police Commissioner Hands-Over Affairs to DCP

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Sadiq, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police has handed over the reins of duty to the most senior Officer at the Command as he proceeds on posting.

Sadiq, handed over to the Deputy Commissioner Of Police, (DCP) State Criminal Investigations Department, Ahmed Musa, during a handover ceremony held at the FCT Police Command in Abuja, Wednesday.

The outgoing AIG directed that all communication should be forwarded to the DCP pending the deployment of a new CP to The Command.

Sadiq expressed his deep appreciation to all the officers of the Command for their support and contributions to the success that FCT Command recorded during his tour of duty.

The newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police proceeds on posting as the Commandant, Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.

The FCT Police Command maintains its resolution to upholding the tenets of professionalism, quick response to complaints and emergencies; and general Police reforms, which form the hallmark of the current Force Leadership.
