FCT RESIDENTS LAUD TINUBU, WIKE FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN SATELLITE TOWNS

Residents of Kubwa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have showered praises on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for the ongoing construction of roads in the satellite towns.
The commendation came on Friday, 24 April, 2026 at Gbazango road (Arab road), Kubwa, where the Minister concluded inspection of some of the projects slated for commissioning by President Tinubu next month.
One of the residents, Prosper Onyenaucheya, who spoke on the sidelines on behalf of the crowd during the inspection, hailed the FCT Administration for prioritizing projects that directly benefit communities.
“You are doing a wonderful job, and the work is progressing rapidly. We appreciate the speed at which this project is being executed. Thank you, Mr. Project -we have truly felt your impact, and that of the President,” he stressed.
Reflecting the mood of members of the community, Onyenaucheya added: “Your efforts have amplified the President’s achievements”
With these developments, FCT residents remain hopeful for more transformative projects under the current leadership, he stated
Visibly pleased with the pace and quality of work on key road projects -including Karu township roads, Apo-Karshi Road, and Gbazango road, Wike revealed that many would be commissioned during President Tinubu’s third-anniversary celebrations.
He reiterated the administration’s commitment to expanding road networks, improving infrastructure, and enhancing Abuja’s urban renewal efforts.
The Minister singled out Abdul Val Nigeria Ltd, the contractor handling the Karu Road project, for commendation.
“The quality of work here is impressive, especially since it’s being executed by a local contractor. This proves that our indigenous firms can compete with foreign counterparts when given the opportunity,” he stated.
He, however, expressed optimism that the Gbazango road would be completed and commissioned by June, based on assurances from the contractor.
