Wike Pays Sallah Homage on Tinubu

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, paid Sallah homage on President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Wike said that the visit was a great honour FCT residents and leadership were having to meet with the President on such an auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
According to him, the visit marked a historic moment, as it was the first time the residents were visiting the President during the blessed period.
His words: “We congratulate you and the Muslim Ummah on the completion of 30 days of fasting, prayers, sacrifice and supplications to Almighty Allah.
His words: “Your Excellency, permit me to say that today is not just a day of festivity, but a moment of profound reflection on the essence of Ramadan and the significance of Eid-el-Fitr.
“The holy month of Ramadan teaches us the virtues of patience, sacrifice, self-discipline, and devotion to the Almighty Allah. It reminds us of the importance of compassion, generosity, and unity, values that define us as Nigerians.”
The Minister prayed God to grant the President, First Lady and his entire family good health, wisdom strength and divine guidance as he continues to pilot affairs of the country.
Wike noted that Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the unity of the country was inspiring, even as he expressed deep gratitude of FCT residents for the initiatives being undertaken to enhance their well-being.
Reaffirming the people’s loyalty and support to the President’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, Wike pledged continued cooperation in ensuring the success of the programmes and policies.
The Minister revealed that impactful projects were being lined up for celebration of Tinubu’s second anniversary in office.
He explained that the projects would improve infrastructure, provide economic opportunities and better overall quality of life, standing as legacies of the President.
