The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (FCT MPWB) has fixed N7,672,822.00 as 2027 Hajj fares for intending pilgrims who wish to perform next year’s Hajj exercise through the FCT.

The Director of the Board, Malam Kadiri Edah, made the disclosure in his office, in Abuja, during a chat with reporters. He noted that the fares were in line with the recent announcement by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Director Kadiri highlighted that the intending pilgrims who had  earlier deposited the minimum of Seven Million and Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N7,500,000), or less, with the Board, should now make their balance payment accordingly.

He stressed that the balance payments ‘must also be through a bank draft, payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abuja, from any Commercial Bank on or before 25th September, 2026, being the stipulated Closing Date for the registration exercise’.

In addition, Director Kadiri advised the intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their international passports to the Board’s officials to do so immediately, or forfeit their Hajj slots.

The international passports, he further highlighted, must be valid through October 2027, accompanied by a photocopy of NIN slips, four (4) recent passport photographs, and must fill a Guarantor’s form, amongst others.

Director Kadiri reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to the FCT pilgrims’ welfare through timely airliftings, befitting accommodations and good quality food served.
