Nigeria Knows Opponents As WAFU U17 Zone B Draw Holds

The stage is set for an electrifying showcase of youthful talent as the draw for the U17 WAFU Zone B tournament was announced today in Ivory Coast.

With two footballing powerhouses, Nigeria and Ghana leading the charge, anticipation is already reaching fever pitch among fans and pundits alike.

In a draw ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ivorian Football Federation in Abidjan, the participating teams discovered their fate, setting the scene for what promises to be an exciting competition.

Nigeria, defending champions headline Group B alongside Burkina Faso, Niger, and Togo.

FIFA U17 world cup winning coach, Manu Garba who was recently appointed gets another shot at cadet football Glory as he leads Nigeria to the tournament.

Meanwhile,Ghana, the host nation, found themselves placed in Group A alongside fierce rivals Ivory Coast and Benin.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from the 15th to the 28th of May in Accra.

As the countdown to kick-off begins, all eyes are on Ghana and Nigeria as they prepare to showcase their talent, determination, and passion for the beautiful game.

The WAFU U17 Tournament will serve as the qualifiers for the U-17 AFCON Tournament to be played in 2025.
