DEVELOP RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARDS WORK: DIRECTOR CHARGES STAFF

The Director, Department Of Mass Education, Mrs. Titilayo Alayande has called on participants at a 2-Day training to acquire knowledge that would assist in delivering on their respective mandates and also ensure the development of the right attitude towards work.

The Director, represented by the Head Of Administration, and a Deputy Director, Mr. David Adokuru stated this during the Train the Trainers Workshop organized by the Department for Mass Education recently in Abuja.

The participants were trained in areas such as Vocational Learners on Modern Trend In Tailoring And Fashion Designs.

The Director emphasized the importance of having the right attitude to work; saying that the right attitude and the right frame of mind encourage efficiency and productivity.

She said the training is to develop knowledge, acquire skills, and most importantly, shape the attitude of the learner, because without the right attitude the skill acquired will not be relevant.

She charged them to ensure that the skills acquired are put to good use so that they can become a source of income for them.

Some of the participants (women ) commended the efforts of the Federal Capital Territory Administration on Vocational Training. They expressed their appreciation and said the training will be put to good use.

The training ended on Thursday with the presentation of Certificates to the participants.
