Wike Appoints Atang SSA Administration

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has appointed the out-going pioneer Head of Civil Service, FCTA, Dr. Samuel Udo Atang, Senior Special Assistant on Administration.

A statement released on Friday from the Minister’s Office, says that the appointment takes immediate effect.

Atang, a seasoned administrator with a wealth of experience in public service, governance, and administration was, until his new appointment, Head of Civil Service of the FCT Administration.

Born on the 27th of March 1964, Atang, hails from Eket Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom State.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, obtained from the University of Calabar in 1987 and began his working career in the defunct Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory in 1989.

Atang’s tenure as Head of Civil Service was extended for six months by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his reaching the retirement age of 60 in March.
