LeBron James And Son Bronny Make NBA History

By: Gyang Dakwo
LeBron James made more NBA history on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
This time, he needed some help as he and his son Bronny James Jr. became the first father-son duo in NBA history to play together. Bronny entered the Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason game against the Phoenix Suns in the second quarter and finally made this historical moment a reality.
While it is not official due to it being the preseason, it is still the first time the two have shared the court together in a game atmosphere.
LeBron James is entering his 22nd NBA season and seventh with the Los Angeles Lakers. He signed a two-year deal in the 2024 NBA offseason and is looking to add a fifth NBA Championship to his legacy.
Bronny James was a 2024 second-round draft pick and is entering his first season as a professional. His father has been in the NBA for the entirety of his life and now he will hope to carve out his own legacy as the next generation.
The opportunity to play alongside his son is something the elder James has desired and it will finally happen this season.
Bronny may not immediately jump into the starting lineup this season but inevitably will hit the floor with his father plenty of times this year.
